Di has lived at “Apple Tree” since 1985. Her husband, Don built Bryanstown Annex as a retirement home for Di’s mother in 2006.
One of Di's hobbies is her Golden Retrievers and she is involved in the working side of the local breed club, Eastern Counties Golden Retriever Club. Di also enjoys her large garden and belongs to Wickham Market & District Gardening Club. She is trying to get as close as she can to being self-sufficient in vegetables and eggs generously provided by the hens.

Di’s dogs have a naturally inquisitive streak and will poke their heads through the trellis work surrounding the annex garden, always keen to meet new arrivals. They can be talked to or ignored as you see fit but they will endeavour to ensure they get plenty of fuss. The dogs, however, remain on their side of the fence at all times.
